Hi, I’m Cristina
KOLLIB was born at the end of many years searching for my element. At KOLLIB, I ally tow great areas of my life, which are the love for craft creations and the engagement to preserve our Earth.
As a child, I dreamed about a world where everything was reused. Perhaps, this way of feeling was transmitted to me by the observation of rural customs.
I was fascinated by the ability of these people to take advantage of everything, minimizing waste. By producing most of their needs, at the cost of many efforts and often under adverse conditions, these people considered each raw material and product obtained to be precious goods.
Today I live in a city, but in my essence, I am too a country folk, perhaps in a modern way.
MY VISION
My purpose is to contribute to something that I truly believe worthwhile that is the respect for the Earth and the people living in it. I want to eliminate the superfluous, combining eco-friendly with handmade creations.
The word KOLLIB is an adaptation from the Portuguese word “COLIBRI” – Hummingbird, who represents the messenger of the gods and symbolizes rebirth, gentleness, and healing.
I want to contribute to the healing of the Earth, offering innovative products, either by the raw materials used or by their creativity, always intended to reduce overall waste.
To this end, our creations are mainly made from upcycled, recycled, factory waste, natural or organic materials.
